Abstract

The study aims that the grammarians have a great effort in setting the rules of the language, as they settled the language from its main sources, which they unanimously counted, which are (the Holy Qur’an, the words of the Prophet Muhammad - ﷺ and the words of the Arabs in its two parts, the system and the singular), as their goal was accuracy and comprehensiveness in approving the grammatical and linguistic rule. In general, the Qur’anic readings were considered from the sources as well because they are related to the Holy Qur’an on the one hand, and the dialects of the Arabs on the other. In the book Al-Mohtaseb in explaining the faces of abnormal readings by Ibn Jinni, and he explained the face of the cost in it based on what was approved by use and analogy and confirmed by the majority of linguists.
