Abstract

The reality of women has many negative aspects that the media can correct based on the values of our Islam, which called for the right of women and the mobilization of their capabilities to cope with the challenges of the Times. The research also emphasizes the importance of media as a means of social communication and its ability to change false traditions, taking advantage of its rapid development and spread, and the diversity of its templates and attractiveness. The research came in five sections, the first dealt with a methodological introduction that included the importance of research, its questions and previous literature in addition to the research methodology, its problems and the social theories on which it was based, and the research has two basic hypotheses, namely 1. That the most important reasons for the decline of the role of women in society from what it should be are the " writings of jurists who sided with masculine societies that silenced women, in addition to the Customs and traditions that derived most of them from the writings of scholars filling pretexts," and that this affected the decline of their role in conflict zones, peace and war, and in achieving their rights while they are disabled, and in keeping up with the challenges of the Times, 2. The second topic dealt with the reality of women in the media, preceded by a brief definition of the media and its importance, and then the third listed some of the five most important issues for women, namely, " A. The scholars of the dam of pretexts, B. Customs and traditions, C. Women and conflict, Women with disabilities, e. The fourth topic dealt with media treatments of women's issues according to a plan that outlined the goals, means and the most important things that can be produced, and concluded the research with a fifth topic that addressed the most important findings and recommendations, which included the establishment of national and Regional Centers for collecting, documenting, preserving and processing materials, in addition to training cadres and attention to the means of compositional works and drama.
