Abstract

The study aims to know the impact of the use of information and communication technology on increasing income and women's development in rural societies، because it contributes greatly to enhancing development opportunities for rural women، and achieving a shift in the life of those who use it، and works to enhance teamwork and participate in the development activities of the rural population، therefore The researcher decided to study the use of information and communications technology to develop rural women in the East Nile locality، and the researcher used in this study the descriptive and statistical approach and its tools.One of the most important findings of the study was a statistically significant impact of ICT on women's development، a weak presence of ICT indicators in rural women's development، and a statistically significant impact of the use of telecommunication technology by rural women in East Nile on the development of telecommuting mechanisms، according to rural women's poor technological skills and telecommuting capacities. The study's proposals include bringing in ICTs، building the necessary physical infrastructure، and employing economic resources with high efficiency، to develop rural women in East Nile locality. Upgrading the capacities and skills needed to qualify rural women to enter the labor market and benefit from skills and develop them through local or national rehabilitation and development programs. Reduce inequalities and discrimination، and develop distinguished cadres with skills adapted to the labor market، in accordance with the sustainable development
