Abstract
The study aims to Know the most important criteria for selecting the principals of middle schools in the departments of Al-Rifai District and castle suqar District .The researchers used the descriptive analytical approach in the study, and the study relied in a large part on field work .A questionnaire was designed and distributed (13) forms, as well as Office effort. The field survey included educational institutions .The researchers also used information systems technology (GIS) map V.10.1 to sign these educational institutions .The results of the study showed that the number of boys' schools in the study area, and that the principals of most of them have a bachelor's degree. It also appeared to us that the principals who took the position It is their love for administrative work and their receiving of developmental training Courses prepared by humanitarian organizations and the ministry of Education .the researches reached a set of recommendations for educational institutions to take in order to achieve the desired goals.
