Abstract

The research aims to study the reasons for the increasing Turkish interest in Libya, especially after 2011 AD, and to revitalize the Turkish role in the regions and regions that were under the control of the Ottoman authority. It also aims to reveal the political, economic and military objectives of the Turkish intervention in Libya, which found an opportunity for it to find a foothold and influence in Libya, as it views it as an area of geopolitical influence over which it exerts influence through empowering its allies and consolidating the relationship with the internationally recognized Government of National Accord. Evidence of this is the Turkish military intervention in Libya after the signing of the security agreement between the two sides in 2019. Turkey is one of the most prominent regional players in the Libyan scene since the outbreak of the Libyan crisis in 2014, and it played a major role in the internationalization of the crisis. In this research, we will address the political and economic objectives of the Turkish intervention in Libya.
