Abstract
The aim of this study was to identify the challenges encountered when teaching mathematics to sixth-grade elementary school students, as perceived by their teachers. These difficulties were divided into three domains (related to the student, the curriculum, the classroom environment, and school administration). The reliability and validity of the results were verified. The questionnaire was administered to a sample of 100 male and female teachers. To analyze the data and derive the study's results, SPSS software was employed. Various measures, including the mean, Pearson correlation coefficient, relative importance, percentage, and Cronbach's alpha, were utilized in the analysis.
