Abstract
The Korean War is nothing but a conflict between the main superpowers in the world (the United States of America and the Soviet Union), and it is part of the cold war declared between the American and Soviet poles. Turkey participated in the war alongside the United States of America, which took control of the southern part of Korea. Until the 38th parallel, which is a dividing line between the south and the north controlled by the Soviet Union, Turkey lost many of its soldiers and many military ranks in that war. The war ended in July 1953 by dividing Korea into a south controlled by America and a north controlled by the Soviet Union, according to which By participating in that war, Turkey obtained military and economic privileges and aid, in addition to joining NATO.
