Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out the effects of electronic bullying on social networking sites, we looked at its spread significantly in recent times, as it was considered a basic variable that imposed itself within the virtual space, and therefore the study falls within the analytical descriptive studies and to achieve this we relied on the descriptive approach. Where the study population of the age group from 15-26 and above formed the research sample, and the data collection tool was represented in the electronic questionnaire form and we selected an appropriate sample for the study specified in 150 items, Represented by the data collection tool in the questionnaire form in its electronic form; We used frequencies and percentages in the unloading process, and they were analyzed according to the statistical program ((SPSS)),the study yielded many results that showed that website users try to avoid exposure to cyber bullying by not responding to these platforms, and that many of them are victims of cyber bullying and it affects their behavior and actions through disturbances, neglect from educational institutions, and suicide.
