Abstract
We are not exaggerating when we say that the goal of all religions, divine laws, and the sects that branch from them is to lay the foundations of religious tolerance among human beings, regardless of their different religions and sects, and to respect the human being as a human being, regardless of his belief. The true Islamic religion, the religion of peace, love, and tolerance, considers the human being a supreme value, so there is no coercion In religion.
Whoever reads the pages of Arab-Islamic history will find honorable examples and a clear embodiment of the interest of Islamic sects in spreading a culture of religious tolerance. The Fatimid Caliphate, whose successors pursued a policy based on religious tolerance and established it among the various components and groups of Egyptian society, which included many religious and sectarian minorities that enjoyed complete freedom in The Fatimid rulers did not stop at granting religious freedom. Rather, the palaces of the Fatimid Caliphate were full of scholars, thinkers, and merchants from the people of the Dhimmah, whether Jews or Christians. Also, many of the Dhimmis held high political positions in the Fatimid state and had a major role in State administration ... and our research titled (Religious tolerance between the monotheistic religions in Egypt during the Fatimid State) sheds light on religious tolerance between the heavenly religions,the foundations of which the Fatimid State worked to consolidate among the segments of Egyptian society at that time.
