Abstract
The impact of social media on marital relationships varies depending on the method of use or benefit from it. In some cases, this impact is positive when it greatly strengthens relationships, and in other cases its impact can be negative to the point that it may lead to divorce.
Stories of relationships and marital infidelity begin through social networking sites, with the site allowing you to add friends to your private account so that you can later communicate with them via written chat. People use pseudonyms. Over time, the two people begin to introduce themselves to the other until something happens between them. They become accustomed to each other’s secrets, and trust increases. To a large extent, then the husband or wife may feel comfortable with this person or that an intellectual compatibility may occur between them. From here the adventure begins without the knowledge of the partner, especially since the account is personal and the other cannot access it without his know ledge.
The legislator has become obligated to introduce amendments that keep pace with the technological developments that the world has become aware of in the field of communication on the one hand, and preserve the rights of litigants on the other hand, to fill the legislative vacuum.
