Abstract

The research aims to study sexual and sexual habits in ancient Iraq and how the Iraq thinkers looked at these relations whether they were legendary between gods and gods between gods and humans or realism in the human world these criminal habits are classified into: bidden which are punished by law and sacred which are permitted by law and have a sacred attribute in both cases is legendary gods and humans realism as well as the research deals with the legal development of the regulation. These customs punished those who commit criminal relations that are considered legal crimes according to Hammurabi’s law which is one of the first legal laws that deals in its introduction and conclusion, the god's relations while separating humans’ relations and regulation of these relations according to the laws and, of course, among these sex habits. Hammurabi’s law had an important role in the development of legal thought in Iraq and the ancient Near East and continues to impact civilizations to this day The law in the view of the ancient Iraqi man has a characteristic sanctity in the teachings and principles of the god Shamash the Babylonian god of Justice and the sun to the king Great Hammurabi
