Abstract
Studies have proven that the climate is constantly changing and the globe has witnessed significant climate changes over time, so this study set a goal in highlighting the role of artificial intelligence in facing the impact of climate change facing Iraq, with a focus on the geopolitical effects of these changes in order to improve disaster response.
climatic as well as reducing the negative effects on the environment and society in view of the great climatic challenges faced by Iraq represented by the direct impact on agriculture, water resources, drought and desertification and the use of the descriptive analytical method in which and the structure of the research consisted of four main axes as well as the introduction and theoretical framework and terminology The first axis touched on the concept of climate change and geopolitical artificial intelligence and the relationship between them and the second axis studied the effects of climate change in Iraq, while the third axis represented the role of intelligence The fourth axis included the submission of a set of proposals and recommendations to activate the role of artificial intelligence and to serve climate adaptation strategies.
The research has reached many conclusions, the most important of which are: -
- The climate change in Iraq must be taken seriously in view of its clear and accumulated effects, clearly represented by drought and desertification.
- Artificial intelligence technology is an active field that can be used in analyzing data based on weather and climate data and employing it by dealing with it in the future in the interest of reducing climate change.
