Abstract
This research aims to study the impact of mobile journalism on media content production from the perspective of students at the College of Media. It analyzes the role this technology plays in facilitating and accelerating the production of news and media content, in addition to highlighting the challenges students face when using it. The development and widespread use of smartphones have made mobile journalism an essential part of modern media practices.
The research is divided into several sections, including an introduction, theoretical background, and the role of mobile journalism in facilitating media content production, with a focus on its impact on content quality. It also addresses the challenges students encounter in using mobile journalism, such as technical issues, lack of training, and time pressure. Various methodologies were used to collect data, including a questionnaire distributed among students at the College of Media and personal interviews, along with a review of previous literature. The findings revealed that mobile journalism has contributed to improving the speed of content production. However, it faces challenges in terms of technical and professional content quality, as many students pointed to a lack of the necessary technical and professional skills. The results also indicated an urgent need for specialized training in this field to enable students to produce professional media content using smartphones.
