Abstract

Information and communications technology plays a major role in influencing human life in the current era, as it greatly affects social relationships in general and family life in particular, despite the positive aspects of digitization that no individual can deny or deny the impact of its presence and importance in his life. At the same time, it has negative aspects that affect the Iraqi family, and thus faces great challenges, including raising its children in light of the rapid development of information and communications technology. Family education in the Iraqi family It faces great challenges in front of what it produces and what modern technology presents. One of the most prominent challenges facing the Iraqi family is that technological transformations have produced new interactions in relationships at the family level, thus leading to the strengthening of isolation, disharmony, and conflict among its members, and leading to the dominance of different types of virtual communication that have replaced dialogue. Conversation and direct communication between members of the same family, all of this and more, contributed to widening the gap and conflict between the generation of parents and children.
