Abstract
The research aims to shed light on the importance of lexical significance, and that it is not just a linguistic tool, but rather an integrated methodology for understanding the Qur’anic texts, and many interpreters have relied on it to reveal the meanings of the Qur’anic verses, and at the forefront of these interpreters is Sayyid Tabatabai in his interpretation of Al-Mizan, as he represented an advanced model in employing this significance, which makes it an important reference for interpretive studies that balance between linguistic analysis and the contextual dimension of the Qur’anic texts.
In this research, we will present applications from Surat Al-Waqi'ah, and we will note how. Tabataba'i employed lexical significance in revealing the meanings of Quranic vocabulary, and directing the Quranic text through it.
The research methodology starts first from the lexical significance of Quranic vocabulary, and then the applications of the effect of lexical significance in Surat Al-Waqi'ah.
