Abstract
The interaction with the Quranic text reveals the strength of the correlation between the phonetic construction of Quranic words and the overall meaning of the surah. After examining the surah, we found two prominent phonetic features: concealment and clarity. Concealment is represented by whispering sounds and soft phonemes, while clarity is highlighted by loud, pronounced sounds. The combination of these elements reflects the theme of the surah—whispering, deception, and seeking refuge from Satan
Moreover, the phonetic and structural elements of the surah emphasize the importance of the active sentence and its reliance on continuity and repetition in expressing struggle. This is evident in the persistent repetition of sounds and words, reinforcing the surah’s meaning. The surah is structured into two interconnected parts: seeking refuge(seeking refuge and the confirmation of divine sovereignty. Seeking refuge implies that humans are not merely influenced by Satan’s whispers but consciously turn to God. However, for this structure to be effective, the divine sovereignty of God must be firmly established. The surah concludes by affirming God’s three attributes—Lordship, Kingship, and Divinity—each carrying multiple connotations
