Abstract
Social media can be described as a type of virtual community, while others see it as a channel for communication or a space where individuals display their profiles and build their own social networks.
To clarify the concept of the research, it was divided into two sections. The first focused on defining the term "social media," while the second focused on the social aspect of social media and its impact on women by educating and raising awareness of their rights and responsibilities.
The study concluded that social media plays a pivotal role in shaping women's behaviors and values in the modern era. These platforms are not merely tools for communication; they are platforms that profoundly influence women's perceptions of themselves and society. While social media can be a positive force that enhances women's empowerment and highlights their issues, it can also be a double-edged sword if misused. (should not be more that.
