Abstract
The aim of the current research is to identify the reality of the role of early intervention to achieve independence in the daily lives of children with cerebral palsy from the perspective of caregivers. The first research sample consisted of (40)fathers and mothers who have children present at a cerebral palsy center, and the second research sample consisted of (20)male and female specialists working at the cerebral palsy center. The researcher used the descriptive/analytical approach and developed a questionnaire consisting of (25) :items. The research reached a number of results as follows : A- Parents' opinions on early intervention: Therapeutic (2.16) Physical (2.26) Educational (1.97) B- Specialists' opinions in cerebral palsy care centers on early intervention: Therapeutic (2.84)Physical (2.54)Educational (2.67)-There are differences in the average scores of (parents) in providing early intervention for their children with cerebral palsy according to the gender variable in favor of the mother, as the arithmetic mean for the mother was (15.02) and for the father (13.16).- There are differences in the average of (specialists at the center) in providing early intervention for children with cerebral palsy according to the gender variable in favor of female specialists, as the arithmetic mean for females was (16.57) and males (14.16). There are statistically significant differences attributed to the educational qualification variable in favor of the master's degree and above. significant differences attributed to the variable of the number of years of experience in favor of (10) years or more in all aspects of early intervention.
