Abstract
The current research aims to identify the effectiveness of an educational program based on the educational dimensions of contemporary Islamic thought for students of the Department of Educational and Psychological Sciences in the subject of comparative education and to verify the effectiveness of the proposed program in developing their achievement. To achieve the goal of the research, the researchers followed the procedures of the descriptive approach to build the program, as well as the experimental approach with the experimental and control groups. Students of the Department of Educational and Psychological Sciences / College of Education for the Humanities / Tikrit University were selected. The research sample consisted of (56) male and female students. The number of students in the experimental group was (28) male and female, and they were taught according to the proposed program. The number of students in the control group was (28), male and female, and they were taught according to the usual method. The researchers prepared the study tool, which is the achievement test in the subject. Comparative education included (35) objective paragraphs and (5) essays, and its validity was confirmed by presenting it to a group of experts, after which the data was collected and processed using appropriate statistical methods and the SPSS program. The results indicated the superiority of the experimental group that studied according to the educational program proposed to the students. The control group studied in the usual way in the achievement test, and in light of these results, the researchers made some conclusions and recommendations.
