Abstract
The current research aims to reveal “the effectiveness of a proposed strategy based on logical thinking skills in acquiring rhetorical concepts among fourth-grade literary students by verifying the validity of the null hypotheses (there is no statistically significant difference at the level (0.005) between the average scores of the students of the experimental group that The subject was studied by adopting the proposed strategy, and the control group students studied the same subject by adopting the usual method in testing the acquisition of rhetorical concepts. To achieve this hypothesis, the researcher used the descriptive approach in constructing the proposed strategy in accordance with logical thinking skills. The research community consisted of students in the fourth literary grade from middle schools affiliated with the General Directorate of Education in Salah al-Din Governorate, of the academic year (2023-2024). To implement the experiment and given the presence of a study section for the fourth literary grade in each school, the researcher chose a school. From the two schools, by drawing randomly to represent the experimental group, which is (Al-Qabas Preparatory School), and the other is the control group, which is (Ibn Al-Atheer) School. The number of students in the experimental group and its number of students was (30) students, and the control group and its number of students was (30) students, the researcher identified eleven topics for the rhetoric subject for fourth-grade literary students. They prepared the research tool, which is a test for the acquisition of rhetorical concepts. The experiment continued for a semester. Full academic year) (second) of the year (2023-2024(. At the end of the experiment, the environments were collected and analyzed through a set of statistical methods, the results indicated that the students of the experimental group outperformed the students of the control group in the test for acquiring rhetorical concepts prepared by the researcher. Based on the results of the research, the researcher reached some conclusions and recommendations.
