Abstract
The current research aims to identify the technical culture among English language teachers. The study sample consisted of (136) male and female teachers, which represents (50%) of the study population of (270) male and female teachers who teach the secondary stage in Al-Alam region that belongs to General Directorate of Education in Salah al-Din province. They were chosen randomly, and due to the nature of the study, the researchers adopted the descriptive method. To achieve the aims of the research, the researchers prepared a scale of technical culture consisting of (30) items and five alternatives. The validity of the scale was verified by presenting it to a group of experts, as well as reliability and analysis of its items. By using appropriate statistical methods and the statistical programme SPSS, the results indicated that technical culture among English language teachers was positive and to a moderate degree, and there were no statistically significant differences at the significance level (0.05) attributed to the variable of gender and academic achievement, and there were statistically significant differences at the significance level (0.05) attributed to the teaching experience variable for the favor of the length of experience (10 years or more) .
