Abstract

The current research aims to identify:
Detecting the effectiveness of an educational program based on social issues for students in departments of educational and psychological sciences in  philosophy.
To achieve the research objectives, the researchers relied on the following:

Using (the descriptive and experimental approach with two equal experimental and control groups) to uncover social issues.
The researchers relied on the test as a result of the changes in this research to increase students’ achievement in philosophy.

In addition to this, the researchers applied the scale to a sample of (60) university students who were selected by a stratified random method with a proportional method.
After collecting the data and processing it statistically using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS), The search results reached:

Students department of educational and psychological sciences have a statistically significant increase in achievement.
The results showed that the difference between males and females in the philosophy test for students in the departments of educational and psychological sciences is statistically significant and in favor of females.

To complement the findings of the research, the researcher recommended several recommendations and proposals.
